What began as a simple farmhouse soon became the first tavern in Munster. From the very start, the house served as a welcoming meeting place for thirsty farmers, journeymen, and travelers – a hub of community and connection.

The Böttcher family transformed the property into a cozy hotel and restaurant. In the rustic tavern, freshly prepared regional dishes were served – laying the foundation for a long-standing culinary tradition.
