From farmstead to inn
The Böttcher family develops the property into a hotel with a restaurant. Regional cooking and a welcoming taproom come to define the house.
Across generations
Fire brigade, military and shared occasions
Anniversaries of the Munster fire brigade and the town's close links with the military make Hotel Deutsches Haus a gathering place for the local community over many decades.
1972
A new chapter
The Fraenkel family takes over Hotel Deutsches Haus and continues its tradition of hospitality into a new generation.
Since 1983
Reliably family-run
Cornelia and Günther Fraenkel take over the management and continue to develop the hotel and restaurant with their own personal touch.

Tradition meets modern comfort
Today, Hotel Deutsches Haus and Hotel Stadt Munster directly opposite stand together for short distances, personal hospitality, dining and events in the centre of Munster.
