A path full of milestones

Our Story

A Place of Hospitality is Created

First Records Around 1700

A former farmhouse becomes the first tavern in Munster.
Even back then, the house served as a meeting place for thirsty farmers, journeymen, and travelers—a place of conviviality and community.

From Agriculture to Gastronomy

Conversion to an Inn – circa 1850

The Böttcher family transforms the property into a cozy hotel and restaurant. In the rustic guest room, freshly prepared regional dishes are served—the foundation for the culinary tradition is laid.

A House Full of History and Encounters

Festivals, Fire Brigade & Military

Close ties to the Munster fire brigade and numerous anniversary celebrations shape the history of the house. The military has also found a second home here for generations.

A New Chapter Begins
